Delete your Blog account

If you can sign in, open Account settings and choose Delete my account. You can download your data first.

Deletion removes your sign-in, membership, ordinary posts, comments, your messages, profile, and uploaded files. Other people’s writing remains. Deletion also removes your identity and original evidence from public ban and appeal pages. A minimal private enforcement record can remain to prevent ban evasion. If a service cannot finish removal, cleanup remains queued until completed. You can ask for a retained record to be reviewed.

Account removal usually starts immediately. Our expected processing time is 72 hours; service interruptions can take longer. An authenticated deletion request gives you a private receipt to check progress and completion, even after your sign-in is removed. Completed receipts expire after 30 days. If the expected processing time has passed, use the support link on your status page.

If you cannot sign in, have been banned, or have already removed the app, send a private account or data deletion request here. You do not need to reinstall the app. Include your handle if known and an email where you can be reached. A reviewer must verify ownership before deleting an account. Sending a request never deletes another person’s account automatically.
